The data provided in this chemical-material compatibility guide are based on recommendations from
the 3rd edition for the”Guidelines for the Selection of Chemical Protective Clothing,” ACGIH, Cincinnati,
1987. Helly Hansen makes no warranties regarding the use of this information.
The end user must conduct a hazard assessment based on the conditions of use and determine the
suitability of appropriate protective clothing on a case-by-case basis. Permeation or penetration
testing against the chemical(s) of interest may be required to determine the barrier effectiveness of
the material.
